Everywhere and Nowhere

This work explores the hidden interconnections within an artist community. The artist chose to have a "ghostly" presence in the year-end exhibition (Jahresaustellung). Instead of showing her own, independent works, she "manifested" herself through contributing to her classmates' artworks. The tasks performed ranged from artistic research to technical support.
The suspicious-looking QR codes, placed next to each artwork in the exhibition, linked to the webpages where visitors can review the “proof of performance (Leistungsnachweis)” forms signed by the artists that she assisted.
It was an attempt to make visible the often-unseen network of support and influence in artistic practices. The lack of proper quotation as a common practice in the art world was also put under scrutiny.
